MOLLY'S AFFORDABLE HOLIDAY DECORATING SOURCES
For someone that likes clean lines and minimal clutter I can accidentally get rather tacky during the holidays. It is important for me to organize my thoughts and then I have to force myself to stay within one color way so that my house doesn't start to look like a craft store. I will not mention which craft story because #RESPECT to my crafty ladies, but you get the point.
Therefore, I hereby dedicate myself to snowy whites, sage greens and pops of gold here and there because YAY FOR GOLD!
With no further ado, I give you my favorite finds for reasonably priced holiday decor.
These are such a great quality for the price and they come in sets of two. The color is pretty...not too stark white, not too yellow and they're nice and big...because when I stuff my own stocking I will need lots of room ;)
Knit Stocking
Same as above but the pattern is really cute and you can choose a size. Packs of four and a steal of a deal....saves me some money for stuffing my own stocking ;
Gold Metal Stocking Holder Hooks
These can be hidden under garland on your mantle and I like that. It doesn't get more simple than these hooks that come in sets of two.
DO NOT YELL AT ME FOR ALREADY INCLUDING RED IN MY GREEN AND WHITE THEME. These are just too cute to not talk about.
Metal House Stocking Hook HERE and HERE
Ok so here is what I would do with these AMAZING little houses. I am a direct descendent of crafty ladies and so I personally would spray paint them a soft white and before they dry sprinkle a super fine, white glitter on top to look like snow. Then I would shove them into my green mantle garland and make them look like a cute little Christmas Village. Don't hate me 'cause you ain't me. ho ho ho.
Such an incredible price. I like the departure from your standard holiday garland and a little added touch of eucalyptus. The green tones are so pretty!
Eucalyptus and Olive Leaf Garland
I mean you guys, this is SO PRETTY. And full! It comes in a 6.5 foot, 2 pack and I'm thinking for my stair railing this would be so simple and just gorgeous!
Flocked Artificial Wreath and Pre-Lit Version
YESSSSS. This will go on my front door that is painted in Railings by Farrow and Ball. Great price for the quality and size.
You really can't beat the price on this wreath and especially for the size. Inside of my house I really enjoy hanging wreaths in the middle of my windows from a ribbon hooked to the top of the window. But I keep using real evergreen wreaths and the mess is ridiculous. Plus buying them over and over again every year gets expensive. The Faux Boxwood Wreath is the answer to that problem!
If your door is dark in color this wreath is where it's at. This wreath is so, so simple and really would make an elegant look. Plus, is there a cuter name than "pip berry"? Hang it so that you can say that all season long.
This just never goes out of style and each of the ribbons I have included below will coordinate beautifully! Simple but gorgeous under ANY tree.
This gold wrap packs a punch and will also be fabulous with adding a touch of glam but not too much to your tree!
Fresh and festive at its finest!
I am putting this on everything. Erry.sangle.thang.
This set also comes with 100 really cute little Christmas tree gift tags. They're simple and lovely!
I had to include this too because I am really into that green. It is just so pretty!
Just a really nice, organic decorative touch that I like to use when something is missing!
I like to hang these from wreaths, the center of garland on my mantle and just about anywhere else I can find. They're so FESTIVE. never over the top and such a simple touch to add to anything!
